Victory
Liberals are
celebrating another move toward the socialism of America.
Saturday night,
November 21st. the Senate voted to move ahead with a floor debate on the trillion dollar
government run health care bill.
Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown's "yes" vote was part
of that victory. Brown says he is looking forward to having a thorough debate on
the issue.
"It's on the Senate floor for debate. Every
single Republican tried to stop it from even coming to the floor to debate it.
Now, everybody has the chance, all 100 of us in both parties, to have input, to
make changes. We want this to be as bipartisan as possible, but most
importantly, we want it to be a good bill and I think this is good start."
The vote was 60 to 39 with all 58 Democrats and two independents
voting for the measure.
And Where Was George?
Ohio Senator George Voinovich didn't think this historic
vote was important enough for him to stick around in Washington.
So just what was more important?
Celebrating his 30 year victory over Dennis Kucinich at a party in Cleveland.
